how to restring a steel string acoustic guitar?
hi, im trying to restring my acoustic steel string guitar, and having problems.
when i take the bridge peg out, and remove the first string
i get the new string, which is a “ball end” string. put it in the hole. put in the peg correctly.
and when i start tuning it, the string keeps getting pulled out of the peg hole.
what do i do?
if you have a ball on the end then you just need to watch and when the peg starts to pop up push it back in and keep going. It should tighten up and seat.
